Pumpkins are squash like fruit that range in size from less than 1 pound to over 1000 pounds. Pumpkins generally weigh 4 to 8 kgs and vary greatly in shape and color like orange, yellow, pale green etc.
Pumpkins are grown all around the world for a variety of reasons ranging from agricultural purposes to commercial and ornamental sales. Out of the seven continents, only Antarctica is unable to produce pumpkins; the biggest international producers of pumpkins include the United States, Mexico, India and China.
